Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
Every parent should be checking the Focus on the Family Plugged In website for movie reviews. They are very specific and helpful for the practice of Godly discernment.
They have an extensive list of archived movies, so you can check this out before you go rent a movie as well.
An ongoing discussion of what the Bible says about this, that, and the other thing. Plus, movies and culture, and the random oddities of life.

Last Sunday's Lesson
This lesson is an attempt to look at the second of two important words in Ephesians 6:4 - Fathers, do not provoke not your children to wrath, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.(KJV) Two weeks ago we looked at the "Nurture" or the training/disipline aspect. Last Sunday we dealt with "admonition."
If you check out the posting below this one, you'll find a link to NANC - the organization dedicated to Biblical counseling and family issues. Jenette and I went to their conference in 2003.

This is the organization that taught me so much about Biblical Admonishment - that I talked about in last Sunday's Lesson.
These guys are really on the right track with counseling and discipleship.

Sunday's Lesson
Wow! It sure was great to see so many in class Sunday. I wasn't sure what to expect on Mother's Day. This lesson is an attempt to look at the first of two important words in Ephesians 6:4 - Fathers, do not provoke not your children to wrath, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.(KJV)
This week we looked at the "Nurture" or the training/disipline aspect. Next week we will look at "admonition."
I pray for God's blessings on your family as you study and apply His Word.
