I'm glad to see you back on your blog. I enjoy the interesting articles and commentary. Good article. Something I have been convicted of and am guilty of in "outsourcing my parenting" is the tv...specifically movies or educational programming. It's easy to put something on while I'm getting my sewing done. So even me, wanting to homeschool, stay at home, etc is guilty of this. With the God's help, I will become wiser and refrain from this! I always think what kids did all day when there parents were working from morning to night, just to eat and live. They did okay and found things to do and helped work. I shouldn't feel guilty I need to work and "outsource" my parenting! We think our kids need entertainment 24/7. When I leave the tv off they come up with creative things to do, and I always have work they could do :-) Thanks for finding this article! Janet
